About Dawn McCoy

She’s known as “Dawn McJOY” to the public and she shares her heart with those who have been affected in mental and emotional trauma, pain and abuse. As a “Personal Growth Development Coach”, Dawn has worked hard to bring comfort to those mourn and struggle with the after affects of human trafficking, eating disorders, suicide and major depressive/anxiety disorders for over 29 years.

  • A graduate of California Baptist University with her BS in Psychology- Behavioral Science 2001, MS in Counseling Psychology-Marriage and Family Therapy 2005 and achieving her 2nd MA in Counseling Ministry (MDIV) 2008.
  • Founder of Red Shoe Project, Inc. for over 12 years in Mental and Emotional Health Care. Radio Talk Show Host/Podcast for When we come “Undone”.
  • Thyroid Cancer Warrior since 2019, Covid Warrior since January 2022.
  • Longtime friend and volunteer to many local nonprofits and businesses in her community of the Inland Empire.
